Pat - re: Pistachio Cake

Misc.

Hi Pat,

Is this the recipe you're referring to? If it is, I can't find a problem with it.

This recipe uses pistachio pudding and Dream Whip mix for frosting, but I
suppose you could sub. whipped cream for the milk and mix.

Pistachio Cake

1 pkg. white cake mix
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. veg. oil
5 eggs
2 pkgs. (small) pistachio instant pudding mix

Combine dry ingredients in large mixing bowl. Add water, milk and oil; mix
well. Add eggs; mix well until batter is smooth. Pour into two greased 9 inch
layer cake pans or 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes for 9" layers; 45
mins. for 9 x 13.

Frosting

1-1/2 c. cold milk
1 pkg. (small) pistachio pudding mix
1 pkg. Dream Whip whipped topping mix

Beat ingredients for 5 minutes until thick; frost cake.
