Dear Peter,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know how this recipe turned out for you. I found the original Kraft Food recipe (here) that was posted and the sour cream amount should be 1/2 cup, not the 3/4 cup listed in the recipe you tried.

If you'd like, you can save the thin batch by whisking in softened cream cheese (it would probably make a tasty Alfredo-style sauce for pasta).

Sorry but this one was a dissappointment, far too soupy, it was like dipping a bowl of mayo with specks of bacon. Definitely not something that your guests will rave about.
