Posh Slices for the bridge club ladies...

My mother in law, also Janice, goes to her bridge club and is forever asking me for recipes for slices or biscuits that are really posh, she says plain slices are no good but she needs a proven, really good one......any ideas? You know....keeping up with the Jones....
