1/4 cup sugar
1 cup plain flour
1/4 cup self-raising flour

4oog can sweetened condensed milk
30g butter
2 tablespoons golden syrup
3 teaspoons instant coffee powder
1/3 cup walnuts, finely chopped

1 cup plain flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
125g butter

Stand 15 minutes before cutting. Leave to cool on tin. Cut into bars, slices or diamonds.

Sift dry ingredients into a basin, rub in the butter. Mix to a firm dough, refrigerate 30 minutes before grating coarsely.
