In response to Susan Thompson of Illinois: Do you still need the castle cake recipe? I still have my beloved Betty Crocker Boys and Girls Cookbook -- with a recipe for a beautiful castle cake that I made as a child 30 years ago and again as a young adult 20 or so years ago. I will transcribe the recipe for you if you're still searching.
