BUTTERMILK CHOCOLATE BREAD
WITH CHOCOLATE HONEY BUTTER
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 3/4 cups flour
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 cup chopped walnuts
Chocolate Honey Butter (recipe follows)
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease bottom only of loaf pan.
Combine sugar and margarine. Blend well. Add eggs; beat well. Stir in buttermilk. Add dry ingredients; stir until moistened. Stir in nuts. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake at 350 degrees F 55-65 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes, then remove from pan.
CHOCOLATE HONEY BUTTER:

2 tablespoons honey
Combine butter, chocolate syrup, and honey. Beat until light and fluffy.
