re: cooking for large family

Misc.
I make alot of casseroles based with rice or noodles. My favorite is meatless and is a big hit with my family-Brown rice with cheddar cheese, cream of mushroom soup and broccoli. Very flavorful! Spaghetti is also a big fave. Also I sometimes fry up shredded cabbage and onions, then throw in a little kielbasa. Very satisfying and we feel we eat well. Salads can be made into main dishes too by just adding a little egg and maybe a little chunked ham and/or cheese. Beans with a hambone simmered in and some cornbread on the side will also feed many for little $. If you want some recipes for these suggestions, just let me know!
