Ground Angus beef stars in West Indies Patties, a spin on a traditional Jamaican dish, at Bahama Breeze, Orlando-based Darden Restaurants' Caribbean-themed chain. The crisp-fried patties are seasoned with curry and other spices and mixed with diced potatoes and carrots. For service, the starter is matched with a cooling apple-mango salsa and sour cream punched up by a blend of tomatoes, cilantro, red onions, jalape os and Creole seasoning.
