Re: Hair Rinse -etc. (REPLY to Maryann re: hair rinse)

Misc.

Dark Cider Vinegar softens hair, maybe it depends on just how dry it is. Give it a try for awhile. It won't hurt.

My hair is a little dryer when I get a color job after my perm from the two processes and chemicals. I found a 'leave-on' spray conditioner that is like water, that I like best of products I buy. Salons have products for this.

When I was in high school I had a convertible and my hair became very dry. I was desperate and tried anything I thought was greasy. I gave myself hour-long treatments of cod-liver oil rubbed well into my hair and then washed it out with a good conditioning shampoo for dry hair and damaged. I did the same with plain mayonaise. It did get better. It's worth a try.

Good luck.
Linda
