re: pressure canners

Michelle, if you want to buy a pressure canner, keep checking at Bimart. They put them on sale for $69 for Presto 23 quart ones. That is a good deal. I just bought one a few weeks ago there. HiSchool also had them for the same price. Usually they are $99. With the 23 quart one you can stack pints and half pints, which saves a lot of time. It will hold 7 quart jars. It does have a dial gauge that needs to be tested each yer, but it can be tested at Wilco and cost $2 to have tested.
