Re: Request: Vita-mix information

Misc.
My husband and I bought a VitaMix in June and have enjoyed using it, but as he would be happy to tell you, we don't use it often enough. I am a teacher, so during the summer I was able to use it more frequently - now that school has started, I forget I have it. We bought it to make soups, which we love - but we have mainly used it to make sorbets. Just frozen fruit, no sugar, aspartame and non fat milk spun for about 30 seconds - delicious. I have made soups with the cabbage, carrots, green peppers like the demonstration - and it is al good. We paid $379. for it at a base exchange in Florida, but based on the number of people who stopped by the demo and said they had one, but didn't know how to use it - I'll bet if you put an ad in your local paper, you might get a nibble. It certainly is worth it. Good Luck!
