re: spicy cajun buffalo wings - crock pot (also re: frozen food in crock pot)

Hi Chris,

Start this recipe with thawed or 'fresh' wings. I haven't tried the recipe but it looks like it would be tasty. For anyone wanting to avoid the fat, chicken breast strips would probably be very good too.

A note of caution - it isn't considered safe to cook foods from their frozen state in the crock pot. It takes a very long time for the food to thaw in a crock pot leaving it at an unsafe temperature during the process. Defrost ingredients in the microwave or in the refrigerator before beginning a crock pot recipe.
