Re: Ukranian white soup - Some guesses

Could it be a "studynets" (its like an aspic with meat or fish) and its extremely garlic-ly soup state when made before its set. Its a pale white-ish yellowish color when made and then sets. Studynets (the fish version) is eaten on Christmas Eve, and meat versions can be eaten on Christmas Day.
I have a recipe for this.

My other guess is a type of soup. For Christmas, borcht is usually served. We always have red borcht (Meatless on Christmas Eve.)
