re: Uses for egg yolks - freeze-ahead pie fillings
Misc.Apparently you bake or cook often, so why not make pie fillings, (custards, choco., coconut), freeze them until you have a need for a dessert, thaw the mix, and bake as usual. I do this often as a time saver for family get togethers and find it works quite well.
