Recipe: Pretzel Piles (using sweetened condensed milk)

Desserts - Candy, Chocolate
PRETZEL PILES

1 (14 ounce) can fat free sweetened condensed milk
2/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
2/3 cup butterscotch chips
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups coarsely crushed pretzels

In a medium pot, combine the sweetened condensed milk, chocolate and butterscotch chips. Cook over a low heat, stirring constantly, until pieces are melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

Place the crushed pretzels in a large bowl. Pour the chocolate mixture over the pretzel mixture in the bowl, stirring gently until thoroughly coated.

Drop by rounded teaspoons onto waxed paper lined cookie sheets. Chill in the refrigerator until firm. Store, covered, in the refrigerator.

Makes 2 1/2 to 3 dozen pretzel piles
