Boneless, skinless chicken breasts,marinated in Italian dressing & baked
Party potatoes
Jiffy corn spoonbread
Pasta primavera salad
& Lemon jell-o cake for dessert

Tom's fav. (21)
Beef pot roast w/ potatoes carrots & onions (don't forget to put a bay leaf in the pot,mom)
Dad's homemade bread
A big tossed green salad & ranch dressing
& later in the eve. , a big ol' slice of homemade chocolate cake w/ choc. frosting

MY FAVORITE (from childhood my Mom was a GREAT cook)--she minored in home-ec. &
wanted to BE betty crocker ! --until the depression & W.W.II got in the way
& then came ME & my little bro.

Southern fried chicken & cream gravy
Steamed rice
Peas
Buttermilk biscuits (they have to be cut with her ancient cutter-i inherited it)
5-C. fruit salad
& it's a toss, should i have strawberry shortcake or the best chocolate cake ever--oh--all mom' desserts were to die for--ummmm maybe home-cranked fresh peach ice cream

Luckily my husband enjoys everything ! : )
