Re: What is your family's favorite meal?

Misc.

Something my whole family loves is salmon.
My husband is friends with some of the
fishermen in town and they are always giving
us fresh salmon right off the boat. I baste
it with melted butter and sprinkle it with
an herb blend that my mom makes up from
herbs she grows in her garden. (I first put
the fish on a double layer of foil that has
been sprayed with PAM.) Then we put it on
the BBQ which has some alder sticks (taken
from out in our woods) smoking away on it.
This is making me hungry writing about it!
In the late summer we have this with corn
on the cob, fresh picked from our garden,
some nice crusty french bread, and usually
a salad of some sort. This is one meal ALL
my kids will eat without one or more whining
that they don't like something!
