is not a term i am familiar with but i'm sure Terrie is right - it is fairly large and round, with purplish skin and pale yellow inside and very hard. You have to peel it and then chop into dice. I have posted a recipe in the past for mashed potato which i love and was a way for our mum to get us to eat it when we were young and wouldn't eat it alone. One thing, it definately isn't is a turnip! Similar i suppose but much smaller. Hope this helps...
