Soup-erb!

Misc.
OK, Gina, forget the bad pun. But I think the soup looks great, so thank you for another good recipe. And I have a wonderful moment of sharing some pasta fagioli soup with my Mom years ago I hadn't remembered until reading your post. I hope you'll share more of your soups and any of those for the slow cooker. I have never been a big soup-lover until recently, so am now collecting and trying recipes.

I also just bought my 1st slow cooker, so experiments are in order! Reading that they use about the same energy as a 60 watt bulb makes it eco-easy to leave the cooktop and oven off.

In fact, I have some golden chard in the fridge right now, and the last of my tomatoes on the counter, so that makes me think about a rustic Italian soup - but you planted the idea. Keep cooking, Gina - we all benefit!
