Soup in a Jar recipe

Misc.

Thanks Betsy. My jar has a layer of what looks like spices. I do not know what is in there! Every thing else looks right, but all my stuff fits in a Qt. Mason jar. it is supposed to go into 3 qts of water with 1 can diced tomatoes added. Your recipe has mch more liquid than mine shows. Even cut the dried ingredients in half and it still has a lot more liquid. It gives me something to try though. Thanks.
