Misc.
I was actually in DC just the weekend before last. My DH has an Apt. in Falls Church & my oldest daughter is working and living in DC. She just moved down there in October. My brother & his wife live in Silver Spring. We actually lived in Arlington from 1976 - 1986, at which time The University of Mass. made my DH an offer he/we couldn't refuse. Both of my girls were born down there. I love the area but, oh my, the traffic is sven worse than it was 15 years ago:-(!! Tonight for dinner, I'm having little mini kielbasa (extra from the jambalaya), leftover scalloped potatoes, sweet & sour red cabbage (from a jar) and steamed broccoli. I think DH would turn green if I tried to feed it to him:-)!! As Karen/England so aptly said, "One mans passion (or whatever the word was she used) is another man's poison:-)!! I have to admit that it isn't a meal I would eat terribly often but, like I said, I'm hungry for some new flavors or just different ones than I usually eat. It's ok if you or anyone else who reads this thinks "yuk," I'd never eat that in a million years! I can understand:-)
