Lots of good suggestions there.
When my son-in-law heard about the chili problem, he offered to take it off my hands and let me start over. He loves anything that is super hot, so I guess I will just give it to him.
I used the same brand of chili beans I've always used, but they sure seemed a lot hotter than they used to.
I will try different ones when I start over.
Thanks again for all the help.
