Tracey, re Naan Bread

Misc.

G'day Tracey, We have never cooked Naan bread in a regular oven, but I should think you may be able to, as Pitta bread is similar and that is done in an oven. I have looked up the recipe for Pitta and it says:
Preheat oven on its maximum setting and put a baking tray on each shelf to heat up. Non-stick trays work well, as do well-seasoned old baking trays, or newer ones very lightly greased, if necessary.
Provided you put the Naans into a very hot oven and keep a good eye on them as they do cook very quickly, you should have success. I don't think the flavour will be effected, as you will only be going from a more direct heat, to another type of heat source. The best of British to you Tracey, let us know how they turn out. Angel. O:-)
