Vidalia Onions...

Misc.
Walla Walla, Washington and Maui, in Hawaii, are the two other producers of "super sweet" Onions. I understand it is the soil they are grown in that make them so sweet. I use the Maui, when I can get them, for Onion Rings in a beer batter. Except I don't know what they taste like. My wife eats them as soon as I cook them.
