What I did - cleaning brick wall --

Okay so I looked at Kelly's advice and I was gonna try it but then read somthing about using tounge oil to revive and that is what I really wnated to do make it look renewed --
so I took tounge oil and put it in a spray bottle and started spraying -- being careful not to overspray on to walls.
looked much better!
for the inside area -- it was some blackened and some not so it looked funny. It will not at this time be used as fireplace so I made up some of those craft things we did as kids -- crayon & leaves between waxed paper and ironed then pinked the edges and taped them on the back wall inside then put iron candle sticks and candles in front ... looks GREAT!
