WOW! painted ...

WOWee what a neat idea -- painted muslin!! love it.

You could use acrylic fabric paints and stamp or stencil or if REALLY talented
free hand on it -- I heard this tip when stenciling my living room berber
type CARPET (!) after you have finished let it dry about 24 hours then put waxed
paper over the painted part and iron it -- the waxed paper helps to protect the
paint -- I did not do this so if you try it TEST first -- the gal who told me
does it all hte time on garmets she paints. If stenciling go ahead and buy the
stencil brishes & a stencil it is so much easier!

Oh if you have a skirt on the chair and it is done with the muslin -- i would
make a DEEP hem pocket, not shallow -- would look richer ~~ :
