Recipe: Hot Bacon, Cheese and Scallion Bagel Topping

Breakfast and Brunch
HOT BACON, CHEESE AND SCALLION BAGEL TOPPING

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 (8 ounce) pkg cream cheese, softened
4 ounces sharp Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
2 tablespoons very finely chopped scallions
8 slices crisply fried bacon, cooled and crumbled

Mix mayonnaise and cheeses until well blended and smooth. If mayonnaise-cheese mixture does not blend easily, microwave on Medium for 30 seconds until it attains spreading consistency.

Blend in onions and bacon crumbs.

Spread on bagels and heat under the broiler until topping bubbles slightly. Do not burn.
