Do you have a good recipe for kibbeh?

Believe it or not, I used to eat this all the time in my DH's homeland (the Dominican Republic, in the Caribbean).

This was something you could get at the panaderia (bakery)! There are a lot of people with Lebanese heritage, and this is how the kibbeh came to be so popular there.

I have tried to recreate it several times after coming back home to Canada, but I guess I am doing something wrong.
