Yes, I have heard of the crockpot liners, Gladys...
Misc.I saw them advertised in Cooking Light magazine.
I find the slow cooker is quite easy to clean. Oftentimes, I serve the meal right out of it anyway. But I guess if you want to bring the meal to the table, you can put the slow cooker contents into another bowl...but then you have to clean the bowl!
Gosh, it is always something, isn't it?!
I just finished up in the kitchen...after dinner tonight, I did a couple of dishes, then made black bean dip, sliced a couple of avocadoes, and then spread tortillas with the dip and sliced avocadoes, mesclun, and some leftover chicken. Now everyone's lunch is ready for tomorrow and Friday. The fellas around here usually make their own, but what the heck...I had a little assembly line going with all the ingredients out anyway.
Mike is having leftover goulash, and is very happy to get it, too!
Happy tortillas to you, too...I think the hummus one is as good as it gets, but I wanted to try a little something different.
Buen provecho,
tu amiga,
Carolina!
