Sometimes there are family situations that one cannot avoid, and we make the very best of them. This sounds like one of those times. I do hope you will try to get a bit of extra rest every day, you don't want to relapse in your health, since you're just now recovering and it wouldn't take much to set you back.

Your neice sounds like such a wonderful person, and I'm sure she will watch out for you and be a big help.

Also, remember that every meal doesn't have to be a gourmet treat like you have always enjoyed doing for people. Simple is good, too!
