You are welcome Gail. The Molcajete is a soupy stew prepared

Misc.
The Molcajete is a soupy stew prepared by Mexican people with the sauce called Molcajete Sauce. I love the Molcajetes (the dish) & they are prepared here by a Mexican family from Sonora that have an elegant Mexican restaurant (is my afirmation an oxymoron?) here in Ponce.

You can add as main ingredient grilled steaks sliced on the grain or grilled chicken sliced or grilled seafood, sliced or a combination of the three. Also add INTO the dish tortillas, sliced & then fried, white sliced cheese, chopped cilantro, a sauce similar to the Mexican Veracruzana Sauce (do you need the recipe for the Veracruzana Sauce?) & the Molcajete Sauce. It will be soupy like most of our stews are.

It will be served accompanied by Frijoles de la Olla & Mexican Rice (Arroz Guisado).

It is such a delicious recipe that I can perfectly understand your preference.

Let me know if you need the Veracruzana sauce.
