Recipe: Kim's Mar Far Chicken

Main Dishes - Chicken, Poultry
KIM'S MAR FAR CHICKEN

Batter:
6 tbsp flour
3 tbsp corn starch
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda

Stir until combined.

Add in:
6 tbsp cold water

Stir with clean finger or use a spoon

Chicken:
Cut 2-3 chicken breasts into bite-size pieces.

Dredge the chicken pieces in flour; then dip into batter.

Drop into hot vegetable oil and deep fry until golden brown, drain on paper towels. Fry just a few at a time.

Serve with Kim's Sweet Sauce (see recipe).

Kim's served their Mar Far chicken with a paste of dry mustard diluted with water or oil to desired thickness, and the sweet sauce, so you could dip it in a touch of mustard, then into the sweet sauce...YUM.
