ISO: Bakers bakery date and nut cake

Misc.
Has anyone actually made this recipe and feel it is close to bakers bakery recipe.? Many say thanks for recipe, but have you tried it?
Also the frosting ingredients say light yellow butter
But the directions for frosting say cream together "butter, shortening" etc... are we putting shortening into frosting or not? If yes , how much?
