Recipe(tried): Acini de Pepi Holiday Salad

Misc.

This recipe for Acini de Pepi Salad was given to me by my good friend, Jean. Her family has it for Thanksgiving every year and she swears it is DELICIOUS...

1/2 package Acini de Pepi Pasta
1 large container Cool Whip
1 can pineapple tidbits, drained
1 can mandarin oranges, drained
Cook in a double boiler until slightly thickened the following:
2 eggs
1 T. flour mixed with 3/4 c. sugar.

Cook pasta, do not rinse.

Combine the pasta and egg custard. Cover and refrigerate overnight. The next day, gently mix remaining ingredients. Reserve a few mandarin ornages for garnish. Enjoy!
