Recipe(tried): Advice on serving dipping oils - Comments for dear AJ.

Appetizers and Snacks
If you are giving a sit down dinner, you should have a very small bowl for each dinner guest, near the bread dish. The herbs & seasonings to be added to the olive oil should be previously incorporated.

I you are planning on a buffet, you should have a medium glass decorative bottle -decanter (like the ones used for liqueur) filled with an ITALIAN FIRST PRESSED EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL. Besides the bottle you should have a dish with chopped fresh basil and another one with chopped fresh cilantro. You might also have chopped peeled tomatoes, for the guests to add on top of the bread with the olive oil & herbs, if so preferred.
