Roasted Garlic Sauce
Makes 1 1/2 cups of sauce
2 heads garlic
3 cups heavy cream
Salt & freshly ground black pepper
Break the garlic into cloves, leaving the skin intact.
Roast the garlic in a 325 degree oven for 40 minutes, or until squeezeable soft but not brown.
Meanwhile, gently simmer the cream until reduced by half.
Squeeze the garlic out of the skins and puree it with the cream in a blender, adding salt and pepper to taste.
Creamy Garlic Sauce
Makes 1 cup
2 large cloves garlic, halved
1 tbsp. butter or margarine
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 tsp. white pepper
In small skillet cook garlic in butter over low heat about 5 minutes until garlic is golden. Put in blender or food processor.
Add mayonnaise and pepper; process until smooth.
