Recipe(tried): Avanti's Italian Sweet Bread (bread machine)

Breads - Bread Machine
Tonight for dinner we had Gina's Italian Spaghetti and it was wonderful. The sauce made enough for three meals for us. We also had Italian sweet bread. I made a peach jello pie but we were too full to eat it. LOL!

Avanti's Sweet Bread

3 cups bread flour
3/4 cup water
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 scant cup of sugar
2 1/2 tsp yeast

Process in bread machine per directions. I used the 45 minute dough cycle. I shaped the dough into 2 long skinny loaves and put it on a sprayed cookie sheet that I sprinkled with corn meal.

Let rise 30 minutes.

Bake at 375 for 20 minutes or until golden. Cool 15 minutes before cutting (if you can wait).
