Recipe: Baked Cabbage Slaw (sweet and sour, quick to make, about an hour to bake)

BAKED CABBAGE SLAW

4 cups coarsely shredded green cabbage
1 (16 ounce) can cut green beans, drained
1/4 cup sugar
1 small onion, sliced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup vinegar

Heat oven to 325 degrees F.

Combine all ingredients in ungreased 2-quart casserole.

Cover and bake until cabbage is crisp-tender and beans are hot, 50 to 60 minutes.

Makes 6 servings
