Recipe(tried): Dalmatian Cupcakes (using cake mix, cream cheese and chocolate chips)

DALMATIAN CUPCAKES

2 pkg cream cheese, softened, (3 oz each)
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
1 (6 oz) pkg semisweet chocolate chips (1 cup)
1 (2 layer size) pkg devil's food cake mix
1 can vanilla frosting
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips (for garnish)

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Place paper baking cups in each of 24 regular size muffin cups.

Beat cream cheese, sugar and egg in medium bowl on medium speed until smooth. Stir in 1 package chocolate chips; set aside.

Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Divide batter among muffin cups (1/4 cup in each). Top each with 1 tablespoon cream cheese mixture.

Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until tops spring back when touched lightly. Cool 10 minutes in pan. Remove from pan; cool completely.

Frost tops with frosting. Sprinkle each with a few chocolate chips.

High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): Heat oven to 375 degrees. Follow High Altitude directions on cake mix package. Bake 18-23 min.
