BANANA BREAD
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups mashed bananas (about 3 bananas, the riper the better)
3/4 cup margarine, room temperature
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
Cream together the sugar, banana, margarine, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
Add buttermilk. Mix in flour, baking soda, and salt. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake 50-60 minutes at 325 degrees F or until loaf tests done.
