Recipe(tried): Beef Stew (crock pot)

Here is a great crock pot stew.

2 lbs of stewing beef, cut into 1 inch pieces
5 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces
4 carrots, peeled and cut
2 medium onions, sliced
3 celery stalks, cut
1 small turnip, cut into 1 inch pieces (optional)
1 can of beef broth

Coat beef in flour, do not brown meat, it will brown in the crockpot.

Add all vegtables and stir. Pour beef broth over mixture. It may not look like enough liquid but the vegtables will also give off liquid so there will be plenty. Cook on low 10-12 hours or on high 5-6.
