Recipe: Beef Stroganoff-Moscow Style

BEEF STROGANOFF-MOSCOW STYLE

1 pound stir-fry beef strips; or round steak or other beef steak, trimmed of all fat and cut into 1/2- by 3-inch strips
6 ounces mushrooms, sliced
2 large cloves garlic, sliced
1 jar (16 ounces) lemon mayonnaise (such as Kraft brand)

Heat oven to 325 degrees F.

In an 8x8x2-inch baking dish that has been sprayed with non-stick spray, layer beef strips, sliced mushrooms and sliced garlic. Spread lemon mayonnaise evenly over top of entire dish.

Bake for 1 1/2 hours, or until meat is tender when pierced with a fork.

Serve with mashed potatoes.
