Recipe: Beefed Up Chicken Breasts (using dried beef and cream of mushroom soup)

BEEFED UP CHICKEN BREASTS

1 (2 1/4 oz.) pkg. Armour Star Sliced Dried Beef, rinsed
4 boneless chicken breasts
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup dairy sour cream
1/4 cup slivered almonds

Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

Place dried beef slices evenly around chicken breasts; tuck edges of beef under chicken. Place in 8-inch square baking dish.

Combine (undiluted) soup and sour cream; pour over chicken.

Bake at 350 degrees F, covered for 45 minutes. Remove cover; sprinkle with almonds. Continue baking at 350 for 15 minutes.

Makes 4 servings
