Recipe: Polish Chop Suey (using pork steak)

Main Dishes - Pork, Ham
POLISH CHOP SUEY

2 to 3 lbs. boneless pork steak (cut into small pieces)
2 cups diced celery
2 onions, chopped
1 lb. uncooked Kluski noodles (Polish noodles)
1 lb. can sauerkraut
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of celery soup
1 envelope dry onion soup mix

1 soup can water
1 or 2 cans mushrooms

Brown meat. Add diced celery and onions. Cook until meat is tender.

Cook noodles according to package directions; drain.

Add noodles, sauerkraut and remaining ingredients to meat.

Bake at least 1 to 1 1/2 hours in slow oven at 300 degrees F.
