Recipe: Beer Batter Halibut (using Bisquick)

Beer Batter Halibut (using Bisquick)

This is enough for about 2 lbs of fish.

2 egg whites
1 cup Bisquick
1 can stale beer
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp lemon juice
seasonings to taste--salt, pepper, garlic salt, seasoned salt

2 lbs halibut filets, cubed (or any other firm white fish)

Beat egg white into soft peaks, set aside.

Mix all other ingredients together; fold in egg whites.

Dip cubes of fish in batter then deep fat fry.
