Recipe: Grandma's Baked Chicken

Grandma's Baked Chicken

1/2 cup water
1/3 cup vinegar
1/3 cup catsup,
1/4 cup brown sugar
4 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons dry mustard
2 teaspoons chili powder
chicken

In a bowl blend together water, vinegar, catsup, brown sugar, oil, lemon juice, salt, 2 teaspoons paprika, dry mustard, and chili powder. Wash and dry chicken; place in greased baking pan; pour over sauce. Cover with foil. Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes. Baste with sauce. Bake 15 more minutes. Makes 4-6 servings.
