Recipe: Black and Blue Rub
Herbs and SpicesBLACK AND BLUE RUB
1/4 cup granulated white sugar
1 tbsp black mustard seed
1 tbsp cracked black pepper
1 tbsp ground red pepper
1 tbsp salt
1 1/2 tsp dry mustard
1 1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp ground white pepper
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
Combine all the ingredients and grind into a powder.
Use as an interesting alternative to ordinary rubs.
