Recipe(tried): Blonde Chocolate Chip Brownies (with pecans)

BLONDE CHOCOLATE CHIP BROWNIES

1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate morsels
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Cream butter; gradually add brown sugar, beating well at medium speed of an electric mixer. Add egg and vanilla; beat well.

Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; add to creamed mixture, and mix well.

Stir in chocolate morsels and pecans. Spread mixture into a greased 8-inch square baking pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool and cut.
