Recipe(tried): Blue Raspberry Jam

Hi there Jan, fellow Oregonian,

I thought I'd pass on something delicious. I accidently discovered a jam that everyone who tasted it, just raved and they beg me to make it all year (frozen berries work when fresh aren't available).

I had some raspberries left over from making jam and was ready to start a new batch of blueberry jam when I had a thought. I mixed up a batch of the two together, using one-fourth raspberries to three-fourths blueberries with a small amount of fresh lemon juice and the usual recipe. I have made every kind imaginable and this is the one everyone goes crazy for. It surpassed their all time favorite of apricot/pineapple.

Instead of the boiling bath I just pour it into sterile jars, cool, and freeze, when I'm only making a few jars. Saves time and works fine.
