Recipe(tried): BRAUTWURST

Here is a Bratwurst recipe of mine. This is fresh sausage so it will not look like the precooked you buy in the store.

Bratwurst
3lbs pork butt
2lbs beef chuck
1/2 tbsp white pepper
1/2 tbsp mace
1/2 tesp ginger
1/2 tbsp nutmeg
11/2 tbsp salt
1/2 pint whole milk

Grind beef & pork course.Mix spices milk into ground meat.Stuff into hog casings. I like to let the sausage sit in the fridg. over night after stuffing to let the spices blend and flaver the meat.I hope this helps you out.
